Graphite Squad is a step-by-step learn to draw online curriculum that is great for students ages 9+. Two 10-week-long semesters in an entirely online teaching format include asynchronous videos with accompanying handouts, example drawings, photos of things to draw, with optional rubrics, PDFs, and more!

Graphite Squad offers small, affordable Project Based Learning packages that develop drawing skill sets while also teaching SEL and math (fractions, ratios, scale) that can be conducted in person in your classroom, remote/live/virtual or remote/asynchronous for classrooms K-12.

Graphite Squad teaches kids ages 9 + to draw realistically according to college art standards. Using asynchronous video tutorials & online written lessons hosted in our easy LMS on our website, it can be imported into your LMS for ease of use or turned into an App for districts with student use on tablets. The curriculum is complete, so districts or schools can ask teachers to guide a group through the courses without previous art training. Professional Development is available for teachers who want support in the program. A checklist of National or State Standards covered in GS is available. Affordable annual license are available priced per student/teacher. Crossover curriculum covering mathematics & SEL is integrated, and there are possibilities to integrate science, social studies, and art history!

Professional Development Workshops:

Graphite Squad offers Professional Development workshops for art teachers who want to be more proficient in teaching drawing as a less expensive art form for kids at home; for classroom teachers who wish to use drawing to teach fractions, ratios, and scale (workshops include videos and handouts!); and for school staff who want to use drawing as a relaxation SEL method.

Graphite Squad can consult with any arts organizations who wish to move to asynchronous online programming. We have spent the last 5 years developing our online curriculum and websites, and can refer any organizations to quality contractors for any development help they may need.
