We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation with the goal of inspiring and developing life-long learning habits through music and arts for under-served populations of all ages, as well as those with mild to severe developmental delays and disabilities.

Approved: Holds Current Contract with AISD

Our goal is to provide interactive musical performances and workshops that inspire all through our passion for music from all over the world, especially Cuba. Our band Sofrito y Su Melao brings music and stories rooted in ongoing connections to world-class Cuban musicians.

All Rhythms provides enriching and interactive performances featuring music from Cuba and the Caribbean!

We offer interactive performances and workshops, folkloric storytelling and literacy-based performances, school band workshops, field trips, and team building workshops for teachers and administrators along with SEL and CLI inspired learning.

Interactive Performances: Our Cuban and Caribbean band, Sofrito y Su Melao, offers interactive performances for all ages that include learning Afro-Caribbean rhythms, dance steps, and choruses to sing. We bring percussion instruments for students to play.

Folkloric Storytelling Performances: Our band offers interactive storytelling performances to classic and contemporary repertoire based in Cuba: Martina the Beautiful Cockroach teaches good morals, Compay Mono y Comay Jicotea teaches the value of trust, and our own story, At Carnaval with Calixta, takes place during carnaval in Santiago de Cuba.

School Band Workshops: We work with musicians from school bands to teach how to play Latin jazz and many other traditional styles such as Salsa, Chachacha, Son Cubano and more. Our scaffolded approach makes students from any skill level comfortable.

Field Trip Opportunities: We partner with the LBJ Presidential Library to offer school field trips with access to their museum exhibits along with our programs! Another option: Ground Floor Theatre for a field trip to a classic theatre space!

Team Building Workshops: We work with teachers and administrators in team building workshops that not only bring participants together in novel, fun, and engaging musical activities, but also give teachers ways to enliven their classrooms with cross-curricular and creative learning strategies.

Our band is part of the Texas Touring Roster which allows us to leverage funds from the Texas Commission on the Arts with matching funds for our performance offerings.
