Where Any Kid Can Shine

KAF is an Austin non-profit giving theater arts classes and performance opportunities for youth and teens; always at no cost to families. Our community partners include the Autism Society of Texas, the Down Syndrome Association of Central Texas, Austin ISD, Esquina Tango, and Imagine Art. Our mission is to provide children and teens who are often overlooked by traditional theater programs the chance to lead, learn, thrive, and grow through the magic of performing arts!

What makes our theatre program unique is the fact that all actors work together for consecutive weeks to put on a full-scale musical production. The children and teens work as a team to learn their lines, develop choreography and produce a show in front of a live audience.
