Film Kids

Film Kids encourages young people's creativity, collaboration and critical thinking skills through hands-on, student-driven filmmaking.

Film Kids uses hands-on filmmaking projects that are selected from previous projects or custom-designed to support the core-curriculum or SEL needs of a particular campus. Students have creative input on content, and instructors guide the students on filmmaking technique to bring it to life!

AN EXAMPLE PROJECT
Two students in a classroom play characters (evil scientist, toddler, person from the past?) or act as news reporters, and the other students in the class teach them about their learning.
Students run cameras and write the script, keying in with the help of their teacher on the important knowledge of that unit.
