Artistic Education Company presents a wide range of projects and programs to elementary and middle school campus under the Austin ISD public schools umbrella.
The company offers IB method professional development workshops, assembly style Q & A showcase performances, during and after school performing arts programming, and other services throughout the academic school year.
Artistic Education Company’s education programs present a variety of performances, activities, and resources to support in person and remote arts education for students in grades K-8. They have professional development workshops, after school, and during school programs to offer schools year round.
Professional Development
Our professional learning workshops emphasize developing unit lesson plans in alignment with the IB method and central idea for successful arts integration to happen with youth in the primary and middle school years. The professional development workshops are available to schools, teachers, and organizations interested in using the IB method in this Arts context in their classroom with their students.
The IB enables students to direct their own learning pathway and develop the skills and confidence they need to thrive and make a lasting difference. It empowers teachers as the architects of learning excellence, working alongside engaged colleagues in a rewarding career supported by a strong global network, and it brings schools a strong reputation for successful outcomes that uplift the whole community.
Virtual Q & A
Invite an AEC jazz musician, jazz singer, or administrator to your virtual classroom to speak with your students and to answer their questions about careers in the Arts.
Assembly Q & A
Invite an AEC jazz musician, jazz singer, and tap dancer to take the stage in the assembly style Q & A in person performance to amaze all audiences of any age! From question about careers in the Arts to playing specific instruments on the stage and so much more in this fun, interactive assembly-style showcase with jazz songs, a history about jazz and blues, and easy going ensemble players to answer questions.
Follow up reflection activity and fun interactive worksheets provided to teachers to hand out to students at the end of the assembly.
PACE Unplugged After School Program
Our acclaimed after school performing arts enrichment program is offered Monday through Friday at participating Austin ISD Public Elementary Schools. AEC offers an after school performing arts program called PACE Unplugged (Project Arts Culture Enrichment) to students in grades 1 to 8.

Vocal Performance Lab for a Show Choir and Recording Session Project.
During School Day Program
Vocal Performance Lab and Recording Project. We offer our vocal performance lab during the school day. The vocal performance lab will be comprised of a show choir, and those students who participate in show choir will have opportunities to sing songs that will be performed in person, and to participate in a recording project.
Each student is provided a binder of music selections and will have the opportunity to practice using state of the art music education platform, WURRLYedu. AEC has partnered with WURRLYedu to create a classroom account for each student who participates in this program.
The recording studio session field trip will happen at the End of the Semester for a small fee. Fees for the recording session held at the recording studio session time is charged by the hour.
AEC will provide a participating campus a recording session field trip rate spreadsheet breakdown for CLI funds to be used for this program upon your inquiry.
